Welcome to the Hideaway!!

I grew tired of the comercialized, commodified and general enshitification of most social media sites. I found the inspiration to try making my own place instead of further contributing to some corpo's data pool.

I also have been wanting to expand into a hobby instead of just mentaly clocking out once I got out of work. The propspect of making my own site is novel and the nearly non existant barrier to entry will hopefully keep me engaged.
